Be in possession of Grade 12 Certificate / N3 Engineering Studies
Hold a relevant / valid Artisan Trade certificate and Statement of Results / Gap Analysis (RPL)
Have at least 5 years’ relevant experience as an Artisan
Proven track record of availability of equipment under his/her watch
Proven track record and knowledge of:
Be in possession of a valid driver’s license
Have mining experience and understand mining processes
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Good analytical and decisions making skills
Computer Literate in full MS Office Suite
Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
Advantageous requirements:
Completed a Foreman Certification Program
Experience in condition monitoring techniques
Knowledge in projects;
Previous underground mining and engineering experience, especially in winders and vertical shaft infrastructure maintenance
