Short Description / Purpose of Job
Use analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance Supply Chain processes and performance.
Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities
• Assemble Supply Chain data, analyse performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and develop recommendations to sustain and support the business unit.
• Report on the business unit Supply Chain performance (financial and non-financial) at managerial levels.
• Facilitate updates of SC business risks and test effectiveness of controls by involving SC management team and business risk partners.
• Develop, implement and track initiatives which will optimise the business unit’s Supply Chain effectiveness.
• Integrate with relevant stakeholders to improve data integrity, enhance the effectiveness of solutions and to increase the awareness of proactive quality improvements.
• Provide input via reporting mechanisms that can enable delivery of quality assurance and risk mitigation measures that will ensure that policy, procedure and regulatory requirements are
adhered to.
• Build and maintain dashboard frameworks to create holistic visibility of SC processes including supplier performance monitoring
• Build and maintain reporting principles
Continuous Improvement initiatives: (CI)
• Drive CI through automated solutions and PDR’s on look and feel of reports.
• Coordinate training material related to reporting and provide training/coaching as required
• Participate, coordinate & update relevant topics in the Supply Chain work instructions/procedures process
• Work across different departments and operations performance drivers and support business unit specific projects (investigations for cash saving initiatives and governance process
improvements).
• Analysing trends to understand business needs and to provide guidance for better business decision making.
• Analyses and interprets business data and provides in-depth analysis in identifying problems and performance exposures with alternative solutions/recommendations which can be taken to
management and end users
• Validating reports from performance analysts to ensure accuracy of information.
• To execute activities related to Spend Analysis and Cost Containment within the OME
• Enable tracking and monitoring ability that Supply Chain processes are executed according to the Supply Chain Excellence Approach.
• Analyse Supply Chain performance on Process Area KPI’s and health check reports and recommend appropriate remedial action.
• Monitor internal stakeholder feedback and inputs
• Facilitate process of in-time accurate reporting to allow for effective visibility
• Validate master data and review source data frequently to ensure accurate reporting (cost centre validation and mapping)
