    Key Responsibilities:-

    • Loyalty ManagementImplement a strategy for loyalty and rewards, taking into consideration Group Strategy synergies, future enhancements, MultiChoice Africa’s priorities and budget.
      Oversee the administrative, operational process, and reporting for MultiChoice Africa’s rewards initiatives, products or programs to ensure full compliance to deliver on objectives.
      Coordinate all in-country loyalty and rewards efforts in alignment with the overall loyalty and rewards strategy.
      Leverage on insights and research to conceptualize, design, implement, launch, communicate and renew BTL or ATL campaigns, loyalty and rewards initiatives and platforms.
      Ensure ongoing business scouting on potential new ideas to introduce to the platforms, as well as third party suppliers and synergies with internal projects and the South African business unit.
      Ensure creation of business cases to back up business initiatives.
      Lead and supervise technical execution of the required changes/initiatives/projects.
      Build and maintain sound relationship with Regulatory, Legal and Administration to ensure compliance with external requirements.
      Creation of communication briefs outlining the comm strategy and supervision of Agency execution, with the support of the Marketing team.
      Work with the Marketing and Digital teams to design and execute on awareness Campaigns, create Marketing collaterals/assets for in-market teams, run Loyalty platforms (launch and ongoing maintenance) as well as up/cross-sell campaigns.
      Interface with BU’s: Connected Video, Boxoffice, Showmax, etc. to leverage projects, rewards campaigns/push notifications and Marketing efforts.
      Ensure dormancy reduction / Lower disconnection / ARPU increase; depending the objective of the platforms.
      Ensure Return on investment (ROI) of the platforms. Track, manage and report on ROI and budget for the BU and loyalty initiatives.
    • Management of Cross/Upsell Activities:
      Develop and execute initiatives targeted at increasing ARPU for selected target segments (e.g. upgrade initiatives and driving VAS products adoption).
      Coordinate cross/upsell initiatives and campaigns with the markets to increase ARPU.
      Interface with BU’s: Connected Video, Boxoffice, Showmax, etc. to leverage projects and ongoing initiatives to drive up/cross-sell.
      Ensure Return on investment (ROI) of cross/upsell activities or campaigns. Track, manage and report on ROI and budget for cross/upsell campaigns and initiative.
    • People Management:Manage team members to ensure effective delivery of business unit objectives.
      Develop a high performing team by embedding formal performance development and informal coaching. Encourage frequent knowledge sharing between team members.
      Determine and analyse development needs for the team and ensure that identified training requirements are budgeted for and executed.
      Interview and recruit new members of the team, including determining appropriate compensation levels with input from Human Capital.
      Create effective workforce and recruitment demand plans to ensure that current and future business requirements can be met.
      Review and update the department’s organisation structure and role description on at least an annual basis to ensure that they are fit for purpose and contain all the accountabilities of each team member.
      Approve leave requests for team members and create leave plan to ensure adequate coverage.
      When required, initiate disciplinary processes for team members calling on support from Human Capital when required.
      Resolve grievances raised by team members and escalate only if required.
      Address poor performance of any team member through the formal Performance Improvement programme and ensure that continued poor performance is appropriately dealt with.
      Motivate team members and ensure that their efforts are recognised.
