Your day-to-day duties will include:
To consistently apply Safety & Health principles in all team interactions and take personal responsibility for safety of self and others to ensure zero harm and elimination of fatalities.
Identify specific risks within working area and adhere to discipline-specific plans/system to avoid these risks.
Ensure that all group governance documents are managed according to the Governance Documentation Policy, and any supporting Anglo Platinum procedures regarding document management.
Ensure that all escalations regarding reviewable documents reach the responsible person at least 3 months before expiry of the document.
Implement and/or maintain a storage system to control physical documents on Site.
Communicate the changes in governance documents according to the approved process.
Assist with internal and external audits of the governance documentation.
Act as a general coordinator for all processes in the governance documentation environment for the site.
Address audit findings as applicable.
Maintain a register (plan) of all governance documentation requiring updating, new documents, and redundant documents. Follow-up with document owners to ensure compliance.
Design of the supporting document management systems, including design of a standardized taxonomy structure.
Coordinates all the central Standards Committee Meetings including preparation of documentation.
Act in line and support a purpose-led, high performing culture, applying the company values and principles of inclusion and diversity.
Adhere to external local compliance requirements as a minimum level of site performance.
This role is in the Safety, Health & Asset Strategy & Reliability department at a Band 6 level reporting to the Section Manager: Business Continuity
Qualifications:
Grade 12
Relevant degree/ BTech/ Diploma
Driver’s Licence
Experience
5 years’ experience in standards or document management
Experience in mining environment or related essential
Experience in Engineering field an added advantage
Advanced in data collection, analysis, and management for decision-making
Advanced level of document management and controls
Advanced engineering standards and legislative knowledge
